A public service announcement, otherwise known as a public service ad, is a message put out for the interest of the public people. PSAs are produced by the media, free of charge, and can serve as awareness for a controversial topic. They are also occasionally used to persuade the public of something. Common examples of public service announcements that we see on a daily basis include drinking and driving, ads about smoking, and reasons not to text while driving.
